The 12-day itinerary of the Essence of India will take you to the following cities of Delhi, Udaipur, Pushkar, Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra, Khajuraho, and Varanasi.

Day 1 : Arrival / Delhi
Late night arrival, meeting, and assistance upon arrival as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car.
Welcome to India, or as we say ‘atithi Devo Bhava’ (the guest is an incarnation of God). Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you!
Overnight at Jaypee Siddharth (Deluxe Room)
Day 2 : Delhi
- Following breakfast, we proceed on a guided tour of New Delhi.
- Later, we cross the city and into the walled gates of the Old City for a guided tour of Old Delhi
- The highlight of this tour would be a ride on cycle rickshaws.

Day 3 : Delhi/Udaipur (6E 2554 – 1310 / 1425 Hrs.)
- Early morning, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Udaipur
- Welcome to Udaipur, the famed “City of Sunrise”
- Meeting and assistance upon arrival in Udaipur & transfer to your Hotel
- Following rest and relaxation, we will proceed on a tour of Udaipur
- Late afternoon, we will enjoy a boat cruise on the serene and beautiful Lake Pichola

Day 4 : Udaipur/Pushkar
- Morning, we drive to the temple town of Pushkar
- Upon arrival check into your hotel
- Evening, we will walk through this amazingly fascinating religious town of Pushkar

Day 5 : Pushkar / Jaipur (150 Kms) (03 Hrs Drive)
- Following breakfast, we will drive to Jaipur
- Upon arrival check into your Hotel Jasvilas.
- After rest and relaxation, we will proceed for Old City Walk of Jaipur

Day 6 : Jaipur
- This morning we will visit the Amber Fort on Jeep, the former capital of the royal Jaipurs.
- We shall visit the Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds, a semi-octagonal structure.
- Later in the afternoon, we will proceed on a tour Of the City Palace & Observatory.
- We also visit the temple of Govind Dev Ji.
Overnight at Hotel Jasvilas (Standard Room)
Day 7 : Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra (245 Kms) (05 Hrs Drive) (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday)
- After breakfast, we drive to Agra stopping at deserted capital city of Fatehpur Sikri
- Upon arrival, check into your Hotel
- Agra is the city of the Taj Mahal, perhaps the most photographed monument in the world.
- At sun set, we will visit the Taj Mahal to witness this spectacular monument of love.
Overnight at Crystal Sarovar Premiere (Deluxe Room)
Day 8 : Agra / Jhansi (Bhopal Shatabadi – 0802 / 1043 Hrs) Khajuraho (180 Kms)
- Morning, transfer to the train station for a short ride on India’s premier train service to Jhansi.
- Meeting & assistance upon arrival at Jhansi train station & we will drive to Khajuraho.
- Upon arrival, check into your Hotel.
- After rest & relaxation, we will proceed on a tour of the Eastern group of Temples in Khajuraho.
- Evening, we will visit the temple complex to enjoy the Sound & Light Show.

Day 9 : Khajuraho / Varanasi (AI 405 – 1600 / 1655 Hrs)
- This morning, proceed on a tour of the world famous Western Group of Temples of Khajuraho
- Later, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Varanasi
- Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to your Hotel
- Evening, we visit the Ghats of Varanasi to witness the performance of Ganges Aarti.
Overnight at Hotel Rivatas by Ideal (Deluxe Room)
Day 10 : Varanasi (Sarnath is closed on Fridays)
- At dawn, we will visit the sacred Ganges for a Boat Ride
- Following the boat ride, we set off on foot to explore the inner city of Varanasi
- Afternoon, we will visit several temples and the Hindu University at Banaras.
- We will also visit Matri Bhawan and Widows Ashram.
- Also, this evening, we take a short trip to the Buddhist city of Sarnath.

Day 11 : Varanasi / Delhi (UK 813 – 1520 / 1650 Hrs)
- Morning is at leisure for independent activities
- Afternoon, transfer to the airport to connect your flight to Delhi

Day 12 : Delhi / Departure
- Transfer to the International airport to board your flight to back home.
